Centre East, at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts in Skokie, is giving budget conscious holiday shoppers a special treat with its first ever Black Friday Sale. Beginning 10 a.m. on the busiest shopping day of the year, Fri., Nov. 27, anyone who uses code FRIDAY when purchasing single tickets will receive a 20% discount off regular ticket price for the 17 events remaining in the 2009-2010 season. As an added bonus, we’re thrilled to partner with Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, which will provide $25 gift certificates to either Di Pescara or L. Woods to the first 200 ticket purchasers of the day. The sale includes holiday fare such as Cirque Le Masque’s “Carnivale,” Civic Ballet of Chicago’s “The Nutcracker,” as well as The Klezmatics in “Woody Guthrie’s Happy Joyous Hanukkah!,” the Broadway smash-hit Russian circus Aga-Boom and more.
