Olympia Dukakis to be special guest at American Blues Theater Benefit

Next Monday Olympia Dukakis will be in Chicago!

Academy Award-winner Olympia Dukakis will be the special guest at American Blues Theater’s “The Rebirth of Blues Benefit,” Monday, Nov. 16 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Bridgeview Bank, 4753 N. Broadway. The acclaimed theater company kicks off its 24^th season with this awesome party….and you can be there!

The benefit will take place in a stunning Italian Renaissance rotunda within the Bridgeview Bank, where guests can enjoy drinks, delicious food, live music and a preview of ABT’s Spring show “RIPPED,” read by Dukakis. Artistic Director of Victory Gardens Theater Dennis Zacek will also read select pieces written by ABT members Eduardo Machado and Rick Cleveland.  An auction will offer extraordinary items, from the hottest theater tickets in town to a walk-on Broadway role. Chicago’s popular blues band, The Skirts, perform live throughout the evening!!
